3D Picture Portrait FAQ's

1. Can a 3D Image be created from a photo?
Yes, we have just launched our new 2-3D service, so if your unable to bring the person to our site, then this is an alternative, where we stretch your photo and laser from the completed file. The Laser Image Company taking the picture will by far produce the best results. Another alternative you may want to think about our 2D Picture Portrait range.
2. My child wont / will sit still!
Unlike a conventional camera, the 3D scaning requires the person big or small to keep very still for 1.5seconds. It really depends on the child and in some cases we do have to turn customers away. Without a doubt ages between 6 months and 3 years are the most challenging, but we dont charge for trying!
3. Is the 3D picture portrait cube delicate?
Your portrait is engraved into a solid cube of quality optical crystal, so whilst strong, it can chip or worse break if dropped. Key Rings are most at risk from breaking if used as a key ring. We suggest that they are used more as a keep sake rather than an actual "key ring".
5.I have epilepsy , will this trigger a reaction?
If you suffer from "Photosensitive Epilepsy" as a precaution we wouldnt recommend the 3D picture portraitto you. You may want to consider 2D image. No evidence exists that suggets this process causes epilepsy.
6. Can I re-order an image produced earlier?
Yes, we keep the images for 12 months, and would ask that in the first instance you complete the form under "contact us". One of our team will then be able to contact you and discuss in more detail and make arrangements for payment.
